About Us

The Yoder Family resides in Buckingham County, Virginia, and has become a favorite with local Churches and community gatherings while singing and playing its distinctly unique blend of Southern Gospel and Bluegrass music. They travel to many different states each year to play their acoustic instruments and sing, and have also enjoyed doing some live radio programs, and also some TV spots.

           Here we are at the Mt. Zion House of Prayer in Utica, OH.

Our Family consists of seven members, Dad - Michael, Mom - Joy, Sons - Rusty and his wife Beth , Forrest, and Daughters - Lacey and Charlotte.

Michael, a Building contractor, plays guitar, dobro guitar, piano, and harmonica and enjoys hunting.

Joy plays guitar and sings lead ,alto and tenor. She is a home maker and also works part time at an antique shop. Her interests include antiques, birding and gardening .

Rusty plays the guitar, bass, and sings lead and baritone. He is a carpenter. His interests include -music and fly fishing. Rusty and Beth have been married now for over three years.

Forrest plays the mandolin and banjo, He sings lead and tenor. Forrest works for his dad as a carpenter. He enjoys music, fishing, hunting and sports.

Charlotte plays the piano and bass,sings lead, tenor and alto. She works in a flower shop in town Charlotte likes designing, snow boarding ,her dogs and sports.

Lacey plays the violin and sings lead, tenor and alto. She likes photography, drawing ,farming, basketball and sports.

We feel that God has given us a mission and is helping us to use our musical talents to spread his word locally and in different states. We feel that it is a tremendous blessing to sing as a family and continue to see our ministry grow since it began . God continues to open doors wherever we go.
